Nnn's Southern Style Bbq - Punta Gorda

Went here for lunch. I ordered the 2 piece dark meat fried chicken with Mac cheese and fried okra. All were very good. Also came with cornbread and toast. The cornbread was a thick slice shaped like sandwich bread with cheese and corn, not what I was expecting as a southerner. Too sweet for me, but the other person with me really liked it. She had the fried chicken sandwich, which was huge. Both meals were very reasonably priced. Since I know know they are open past 4, I'll eat here again.

Stopped in Friday after going to the beach. Great waitress and great food. Made our day. No better BBQ anywhere including the Lodge in Ft Myers.Alsi huge portions and reasonable prices. Can't beat this place!

Usually we eat at restaurant but with two little ones we tried take out. Same great food and URL’s was ready when they said it would be available. Portions were very generous for the price. We always tell newcomers to try Wallys and will continue to do so and go ourselves!

The wife and I dined at Wally's Southern Style BBQ in Port Carlotte. FL on a Saturday night. It wasn't snowbird season yet, so we found only a short wait when we arrived at 6:30 pm. I had a half slab of St. Louis ribs with sweet coleslaw and corn on the cob. The rub on the ribs was so testy that I skipped putting sauce on them. The coleslaw was good, as was the grilled corn. My wife had the pulled pork platter with sweet Cole slaw and Oke spuds (French fries). She used the sweet and tangy sauce. She said hers was best she's ever had, which is high praise as she is from Memphis. All in all, a tasty meal, and we'll definitely be back.

Place was clean and not noisy. Seated right away, but waited quite some time for our order. Drinks came pretty fast, but waited a long time for food. The food was hot and OMG large portions. We had the 1/4 chicken (she eat it all) and the two meat platter with sweet potato. Really really good. We each had two lunches with the left overs. Highly recommend for a tasty meal. We will be back.
