Golden Corral - Punta Gorda

I had lunch with a friend last week, and everything was fantastic— the food, the staff, and the service were all excellent. The new owners have done a great job! Everything was organized and clean. For those of you who haven't been lately, you should definitely give it a try. I hadn't been pleasantly surprised in a while, and I'm looking forward to going back soon.

The Cape Coral location is just about 12 minutes from my home, and I’m excited to make the trip to Punta Gorda more often. Our experience at the restaurant was fantastic from start to finish. Upon entering, we were warmly greeted by Ashley, who was not only polite but also had a wonderful sense of humor. While our waitress, Jessica, was busy at the time, she effortlessly topped off our drinks without us even needing to ask, and she too had an amazing sense of humor. I managed to catch her a few times during my visit, and she always greeted me with a smile. The restaurant was clean and the food was fresh and served piping hot each time. I truly appreciate the staff’s ability to maintain such high standards. Kudos to Jessica and Ashley for their great work!

The restaurant offers a vast selection of pot roasts, potatoes, and gravy, all of which are excellent! The mushrooms and baby carrots were just passable, and the Jell-O with whipped cream could use improvement. However, the lemon water was refreshing, and the chocolate-dipped strawberries were a nice touch. Overall, I’m pleased that there’s something for everyone to enjoy at the table.

I haven't been to Golden Corral for years, but this place where I rave. Great customer service. The waitresses were quick and attentive. Shoot before I finish my coke, I already had a new one. And I tried many different dishes from the buffet and I had none that disappointed. Give Golden Corral a chance and you won't regret it.

We had a party of nine and sat in the back room so we could talk without disturbing other people. Everything I put on my plate was delicious. The carrot cake was out of this world. I highly recommend it.
