Discovered this awesome little hole in the wall across the street from where my daughter was getting her nails done. I had the chilaquiles con huevos and my husband had the oatmeal with fruit. Although the oatmeal looked unlike any oatmeal he had in the U.S. or U.K He said it was like a milky pudding and absolutely delicious. My chilaquiles was the best Id ever had. The coffee had that little hint of cinnamon of true Mexican coffee usually only found in truly authentic places like this. Okay, I 'm very confused. My family just had a great dinner at ... Una Familia . . . I think. I saw the reviews on this site and we got a cab to Una Familia for dinner. When we got there it didn 't look like the same restaurant I saw in the photos on this site. Very tiny, minimal decor, clean, very basic, nothing esthetic, and . . . I wanted to leave and go someplace else. I went outside and double checked the signage and it said, Una Familia , just like in the photos. But I didn 't see any upstairs area that I think someone mentioned. Nor was there a classy bar inside, like in the photos. Weird! Well and at this point my family was already seated, and the family inside was very gracious. We were served dinner, and it was very, very good. We had the fish and shrimp dishes, and had enough to bring back to the condo. This dinner and service was comparable to the high end restaurants we 've supported, who 's prices have doubled! Of course when we got back I had to go look on Google maps street side and try to sort this out. We were exactly on the north side of the same street, as there 's a cute little Downs Syndrome cafe next door. And I see the photos that others posted and they show a restaurant that is very colorful and very nicely decorated, with a bar . . . BUT this is not the same restaurant we were in! Now, there 's a Luncheria Una Familia a few doors down on Google we were in there?! It has to be the same family as the menu we got was the same as in the photos on this site. Does anyone have any clue on this? If we weren 't staying so far out I 'd head back over there in the daytime and see exactly what is going on. Regardless, we supported a very nice family and had a great meal! This message is to say look twice, like we didn 't, so you end up in the correct restaurant!!

Amazing authentic food just a short walk from the beach. Service was beyond exceptional and don't get me started on the food. This is a must stop for anyone visiting the area!
