Restaurant Alcatraces - Puerto Vallarta

Ahhhhmazing Food, excellent service!!! Love people, food and the atmosphere! The manager was great! He ran a close operation!

Really bad experience. We wanted to eat at Mr. Cream, but the waiting period was an hour so we decided to give this place an attempt. They took the order for the first of us, we were a group of 9... About 10 minutes later the rest of the group arrived and they ordered their food. Only half of the first 5 people who first ordered, got their food while the other one was waiting for the food and the rest of the party didn't even get the chance to order until 15 minutes later, because the waitress was so busy with other tables, although the restaurant wasn't full. One of our family members was an elderly person and we insisted on getting their food first and that never happened. We sat at the table for about 1 hour and we never got our food and only a few of us got drinks. Others didn't even get the shakes they ordered. I feel for the waitress because he was so nervous and didn't know what to do, but the manager wasn't pressing or helped to get our food done. We complain to the manager several times, but he seemed so worried that we asked for our food that he somehow ignored our request. We tried to be patient first, but after we had waited for an hour without eating, it becomes quite irritating. We left the place and the manager was very upset and began to apologize. We paid for the only 3 people who eat, but the manager didn't even have the courtesy to give us a discount or an apology for the terrible service. Funny enough when we had enough and left the restaurant empty stomach, Mr. Cream had many tables available. I only give 2 stars because the 3 people who got the chance really liked their food. NOT ADMINISTRATIVE ANIMAL

This restaurant is across the street from Mega (large store). LOVED the food! I got the Alcatraces, a nice variety of food, all delicious. My spouse has the chiles rellenos also great. Very tasty and very reasonably priced!

We had breakfast here and were pretty much the only tourists. Good sign if the place is frequented by the locals. Lots of menu choices, delicious food, friendly and quick service. And very cheap !!!
