Fantastic restaurant with a great atmosphere and an ambiente. the personal was attentive and offers a great service. everything we tried was well prepared, and the taste was exquisite! one must try!

Absolutely the best steak of my life. Highly recommend this experience to anyone coming to puerto Vallarta. I will be returning for sure.
What a disappointment! Literally only people in the restaurant at 6pm on Saturday night, food took 50 mins to table. First mis-step offered wine by the glass from yesterday’s opened bottle. Only 4 wine options by the glass. However huge wine list. Asked for bread, what arrived was a very dry crostini slice of bread sort of toasted brittle, no flavor. Complimentary corn croquette, lukewarm, gummy, a miss. Tenderloin was huge but tough as old boots, ordered medium . Sent back. Husband’s New York Strip not tender but at least edible. Potatoes Lyonnaise highly recommended, potatoes not cooked through. No idea why Karuma is so highly recommended. I’ve traveled all over the world and this restaurant is one of the most over-rated ever. Amazing decor but that’s it. So sad I chose this for our first night in Puerto Vallarta. Big mistake. Follow Up Note: Found out Karuma and other restaurants at the Garza Blanca resort menus say Tenderloin when actually the steak is a Baseball sirloin cut passing off as a tenderloin. No wonder the steak was tough. Seems to be a trend now, one I don 't enjoy.
