What a wonderful and authentic Mexican experience! They have a wonderful, simple menu on a chalkboard that is not overwhelming and offers the best of the best authentic Mexican food we have found! Abby spoke perfect English, which really helped with the fact that my Spanish is pretty terrible. The ambience is beyond cute. Abby made us a perfect skinny margarita and we had a wonderful time. Highly recommend!

Barrio Bistro is one of my new favorite restaurants in Vallarta. The changing weekly menu is always full of amazing selections, all described to each table by the chef himself. They even offer vegan options without losing any of the flavor or presentation. Excellent wine and drink selections, too. I'm hoping they add a few more dessert items to the menu. Highly recommend Barrio Bistro for the excellent food and service!

There should be more stars to review this wonderful gem! Absolutely the best food in PV. Worth the walk or cab ride! Make reservations and bring your appetite. The staff were top notch and the chef goes over the weekly menu at your table! Organic and local! Delicious cocktails and a nice wine list.
