Wang's Kitchen - Puducherry

Ordered meal for 4, chicken and veg momos, Singapore chilli chicken, veg haka noodles and mixed hakka noodles apart from a couple of soft beverages. Must say food is good. Service is another story though. Even though you order to one person, another comes after 5 minutes to check if it was ordered. Then it takes a good 20 minutes for the dish to arrive. Everytime one had to go to the station to place additional order or pay. Seems they don't have any soft beverages which is so difficult to understand, may be because it is the lowest item on the menu. Extremely poor service.

After Hearing Wang's Kitchen as the Best Chinese Restaurant in Pondy, Decided to Try out for Lunch on a Weekend. First Impression, The Restaurant is Just Okay in Ambience and Location. A narrow staircase leading into the Restaurant. Parking would be an issue. Kindly plan accordingly. The Day I Went, There was some Power Issues and They had kept the Genset Right in front of the Steps obstructing the Path. A/C was with Limited Functioning as they were operating on Genset. On Food, Had ordered for a Combo Meal and Found That is not Available on Weekends.. Right Tats Your Call but Keep a Note so Customers don't go for the Choice. Secondly Ordered for a Veg Hakka Noodles and Chicken Manchurian Gravy. After 15 Mins, I Got my Order Delivered on the Table. No One to Serve the Food, One need to help themselves. When I had already taken up the Gravy with a Doubt on my Plates, They informed That they had served a Wrong Order. It was just Three Tables with people at that time in the restaurant and not sure How They can Make such an error. Next, Service Charge. Not sure, why do they charge it on the Bill.. That too a hefty 10% of the Bill Amount. When Questioned, They just inform we had put a Note at the Entrance of the Hotel. Finally The Taste, Only positive point . Taste was good, Only w.r.t the Food I ordered. Not sure about other stuffs. To the Management :- Kindly Focus on Customer Service, a Big Negative Point which I felt. It doesn't end the moment when u had served the Food on the Table. It ends when the customer leaves the Restaurant with a Satisfaction in his heart and smile on his face.

Excellent service....tastes good ..I like the ambience of the restaurant... had a fantastic meal. Great service, great food and great value for money.

Excellent place for Chinese food in Pondicherry. Very good ambiance ,good service and great taste! . Loved the Mandarin Noodles , Momos and Bell-Pepper Chicken . Had a nice experience and would like to visit again.
