Bread Chocolate - Auroville

Chocolates are all I liked here! My husband had his crushed tofu that he had believed to try here, it was so oily that he did not feel comfortable here long after eating. I had quinoa bowl and it was really blazing. I also had a piece of cake packed to go, it had a metallic aftertaste. For all the big Bucks we pay here, we have expected people to be polite, hospitable and help make it a pleasant experience. I was really disappointed at this count. Also no vegan bread options for breakfast time! How difficult is it to offer sandwiches from 9:00?? But tell you what, chocolates were good from the world!

Can recommend the Spanish omelet and quinoa scrambled with tofu. Nice sourdough bread if you’re missing western food.

The chocolates here are so good that you will become addicted. The bread is the best in all of India and they have vegan cakes and wonderful salads!

Did I not take any pictures at this restaurant!? This place rocks! they're vegan handmade chocolates are to die for and the salad is really good with REAL sourdough Italian bread. BUT! the vegan chocolate ice-cream... I mean... its unreal and out of this world! I asked how it was made and I've been told that it holds three ingredients: coconut milk, sugar, and dark chocolate. I don't understand how it can be possible? it's the best vegan ice-cream I've ever had. If I ever come to south India again I will travel just for the ice-cream

We loved the homemade vegan chocolates (caramel and choco-hazelnuts butter, yum). they also have smoothies, vegan bowls and sandwichs that look very good and that we want to try.
