The Sunway Manor - Puducherry

The hotel lived up to expectations. The rooms are spacious enough and are very clean. The staff is very polite and helpful. The reception works around the clock and tends to the needs of its customers. The morning buffet is exceptional. You have a swimming pool open between 8:00 and 20:00. The swimming pool is very clean.

I had booked this hotel only 24 hours before I made a decision to go to Pondicherry, so no expectations. The hotel is located on the main road, about 3.7 km from White Town/ French Town/Old Town or whatever you want to call it. To go there, you need a car or rent a car or 2 bikers. The advantage of Sunway Manor, there is nothing to like, large rooms according to normal standards, great service, good swimming pool and plentiful parking. In fact, this is the only place in Pondicherry with such large parking. The rooms as mentioned area large with a possibility to put an additional mattress if needed. The bathrooms are modern although I thick most of them do not have a bathtub. If you have a pool, why a bathtub? The service is great again and they have a good breakfast menu. The only reason why it is a 3 star because they do not have enough number of rooms for 4 stag or higher. This will also be addressed and soon it will be a 4 stars or 5 stars. I have seen 5 star hotels in less area, so it should not be a surprise. I uploaded snapshots from the outside, but I realized it wasn't that great. The fact is that it is much better than the pictures. I will always recommend this and hope that they will maintain the service and food.

Our stay at this hotel was 3 days and we enjoyed staying here. Staff was very polite when I asked for a place to celebrate my husband's birthday, they gave a party hall for free... I was really grateful for the help... The only drawback is that it was a little far from the white city....

Sunway Manor maintains a Very good swimming pool. Pool is clean and well maintained chlorine level. Also conducts summer camps with good trainers. Has separate change rooms for Gents and Ladies. Has good Car and bike parking area. I’m practising here on weekends.

House keeping need to improve little small small basic things they ignore. Otherwise food and everything very good. Beautiful property well maintained very clean and neat. Good staff very friendly and politely answers.
