It was like table and chairs set up in a Foya...no real Steakhouse enviroment. Food was below average. They have lost me as a customer for sure. The female waitress however made some effort towards the end...but we were already upset.
I visited the hotel and club in relation to t re union. At the re union I found the finger food poor quality but at the various restaurants within the club, the food and service was excellent
We visited the LCC as a place to while away the hours while a family member was at an all-day dance rehearsal. And what a great place it was to do just that. Numerous seating areas spread throughout the club, a great cafe serving wonderful coffee and cakes, a bistro with a good array of meals to suit all budgets, a few well stocked bars dotted throughout the club, and a gaming room if you are so inclined. Staff were consistently friendly, efficient and happy to spend a couple of minutes chatting and making you feel welcome. Recommend this club to all.
While staying at the mecure hotel we went for dinner at the Liverpool Catholic Club which adjoins the building. The bistro offers a wide variety of food from the good old roast, to pizza, seafood and steak. The meal was nice and generous portions meant we were quite full from just the main course. I would recommend eating here as prices were very reasonable. Unless you are staying at the hotel or in company with a member, non club members are not permitted. The only downfall as far as I am concerned.
Take the 5 minutes when you first arrive to become s member. It will only cost $5, but if you will starting saying straight away on meals and drinks. You will save more than the membership fee. So even if you only evey decide to visit once, become a member.
