We’ve always loved this restaurant. Have been going there for 20 years! Not any more! We were having company from the City and made reservations for 8 people. Unfortunately, due to the weather, our company canceled. When I called 6 hours before the reservation, the man who answered the phone started screaming at me for canceling and was ranting and raving and not willing to hear any explanation whatsoever! Needless to say, that was the last reservation I’ll ever make there!

Known as both Nunzios Pizzeria and the Chalet Fondue. I prefer to address it as Chalet Fondue. It's very fun to say. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the staff was welcoming and nice. The seating areas were beautiful and nicely arranged. The menu is NOT for everyone. Most of the options contain veal or other meats, and there were minimal vegetarian options once you look past the fantastic potato pancakes and salads. Also, the menu uses authentic names for many dishes, which I think may be scary or confusing to some locals and causal diners. Luckily, this reviewer is a meat-eater who likes to talk funny, so I had no problem ordering. There are various Schnitzel options, one of which we tried and were rather pleased. The seasoning was certainly lacking, but the meat used was of good quality and the presentation was nice. Overall, the food varied from around 6/10 to 9/10, and with more salt and pepper would have been better yet. The waitress we had a was a nice lady, though she may have been having an off-night as she accidentally catapulted a few plates and shattered some ceramics in the process. Nobody was injured by the shards, and she was resilient and did not lose her demeanor despite the mistake. I will update this review once I've had some pizza here, but for now I would recommend it to anyone who isn't a casual diner.
