I ordered the veggie breakfast veganized and I must say I was disappointed. The toast was cooked too long and was dry, the spinach was unseasonal and obviously from a frozen package. The tomatoes and mushrooms were also blanding and needed a lot of salt and pepper to taste them ok. The only real savings was the coffee that was nice and hot.
This is a wonderful restaurant that offers warm hospitality and excellent vegan options. I tried the 'special of the day,' which was falafel in a flavorful Italian-style tomato sauce. It was served with fresh bread and came in a satisfying portion. I also saw a healthy salad option and avocado on toast, along with other choices. The coffee was great, and it’s clearly a favorite among the locals.
The coffee is delicious, but a single shot doesn’t quite do it for me—I always opt for a double. They use alternative dairy oat milk, which is creamy, flavorful, and made from Australian-grown oats. It’s become my new favorite plant-based milk since I’ve moved away from Oatly. There’s typically a vegan dessert available, which is often gluten-free as well. I’m curious why they cater to so many dietary restrictions, but it mostly works in my favor! Their lemon polenta cakes and apple cakes are both excellent. They also offer a vegan burger that sounds pretty tasty. The staff and management are really friendly, and I appreciate that they’re dog-friendly—I love dogs too!
Honestly, this place has the best coffee in my area, and the vegan falafel wrap is my go-to—it’s absolutely delicious! Plus, the staff is wonderful!
The coffee here is delicious, but a single shot just doesn't do it for me—I always opt for a double. They use an alternative dairy oat milk that’s creamy, flavorful, and made from Australian-grown oats, which has quickly become my favorite plant-based milk since I’ve fallen out of love with Oatly. They also offer a vegan dessert that is typically gluten-free, which brings up the question: why do so many dietary requirements seem to complicate things? Despite that, I must say their lemon polenta cakes and apple cakes were genuinely impressive! They also have a vegan burger on the menu that sounds quite appetizing. The staff and management are very friendly, and I appreciate that they love dogs—just like I do!
