On indication of friends we book in this restaurant located right on the provincial road in Prasco. Externally it might seem like a country restaurant bar but as soon as you play the characteristic bell and the owner comes to open you immediately understand that it will not be the usual evening at the restaurant!! A suggestive place, painted walls of blue and decorated with frescoes and quotations of sacred texts, illumination guaranteed only by dozens of candlesticks, wooden counters in refectory style and extensive display of sacred art objects. Immediately the owner John, a charismatic person and exquisite kindness, illustrates the noble beneficial purpose he seeks to pursue with the proceeds of the restaurant. Excellent cuisine, Tuscan tradition: various appetizers with cured meats, lukewarm crostoni, vegetable sformatini; two first (pink risotto and pasta with zucchini) , a spectacular legume soup, to follow parmigiana of sublime aubergines, orange arista, potatoes in the oven strepitose . To finish various desserts: we tried a delicious candy creams and a really special hot apple pie. The price is very honest for the quality and quantity proposed (25 euro per person) , you climb a little with the wines, however all excellent Tuscan wines of famous wine cellars . In short, a place to come back and be advised! a thanks to John who made a normal Saturday evening an experience to remember and on which to reflect and... (his words) nothing happens by chance!
