My work ordered Uber delivery from P Caruso and I tried the Profiterole which looked fake when I took a bite, it was tasteless and made with inferior produce. The cannoli were the same. they are mass produced. Gone are the days of the great Artisan's at Marineve (Five Dock), Blue Star (Five Dock) Tamborrino (Five Dock), now they were 5 star Italian sweets like my nonna used to make! But my search continues.
The staff at this restaurant are outstanding, they consistently make you feel valued and appreciated. Nicky and Thomas are fantastic, they remember my preferences and always manage to find me a seat. The coffee and food are excellent, but it's the staff that truly elevate this establishment to a special experience. Thank you.
I used to be a frequent visitor at Rhodes, but I was disappointed during my last visit. First, I noticed that a doughnut I ordered was stale. Then, I saw on the menu that a Latte was listed for $3.70, but I was charged $4 without any explanation. It seems there is a surcharge for dining in, but this was not clearly communicated to me. When I asked about it, the staff simply said that everywhere charges a surcharge, which I found to be unacceptable. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this restaurant.
I ordered the cake above for my wife's 50th birthday, and it was a big hit with not only her and the guests, but also with everyone in the restaurant.
Quality of our order was extremely poor and once we notified the staff that were unhappy we were not treated well! Abysmal service, would never return
