Rigor - Póvoa de Varzim

Oops was too angry to take a picture of the food. Fantastic Experience to start our week long stay in the region of Porto. The food is gorgeous I had bite do Vazio a Rigor which was tender. The owner is so sweet and really pays attention to his guests. His staff follows in his steps and strive to be the best. They were all very attentive. One of the local beer called “mesmo boa” was truly fitting. Well done to them. Would recommend it to everyone in quest of a nice relaxing time with excellent Portuguese food.

It's a good restaurant to eat lot's of choices to pick from.

Fui lá duas vezes , a primeira vez a francesinha estava espetacular, a carne com o gosto a churrasco e o molho no ponto ideal . Na segunda vez o molho estava empapado e sabia a sopa e a carne não tinha o mesmo gosto , bastante desiludido.

Bom restaurante, tranquilo e sem barulho. boa francesinha, é mais ao estilo do porto com molho de tomate.

I went here with my sister, who is vegetarian. The waiter switched to English without a problem and once he noticed we are from Germany he switched to quite some proper German. They don’t have much on the menu for vegetarians, but the waiter told us they can make some pasta with vegetables for my sister which was actually nice. I had a pork steak (with salad, rice and fries), the meat was very nicely done and really delicious. The portions were big enough, I couldn’t even finish mine and the prices very, very fair. There is a smokers area inside which is not really separated from the non-smoking area but I couldn’t smell anything (both non-smokers) so it didn’t bother us. Overall a very nice experience considering we didn’t look for this place in particular.
