In the old historic part of Funchal . Fabulous stop for a lunchtime snack. Omelette for my husband chicken sandwich in bola do caco bread. Perfect white wine. Staff great and meal superb.

We had quick lunch and it was very good food was tasty service was good we will visit again next time we come

After a walking tour of Funchal my wife and I stopped here for a coffee some Honey Cake. I can’t comment as to the cake, as I’ve never had it before, but it was tasty. The coffee however was vile the service not great. I asked for a cappuccino very quickly got a hot coffee with spray can, sickly sweet, cream on top. My wife had a coffee with hot milk which was smoother creamier than my supposed cappuccino. Our waitress barely smiled at us during service. Being on a busy city centre street we deduced this place is just a tourist trap. Sooo disappointing as there are abundant excellent coffee shops, Bistro’s cafes nearby.
