O’Malley used to be the place to get every night of the week with backpackers. now it is quite quiet on a Saturday night, but the crowd took off when the musician started at 10 o'clock. the drinks are quite cheap and they can order good crispy pizza from pizza guru over the street. the workers are really very friendly, despite the need to stretch on drunkenness, but they decided to do some fire alarm tests and not the bouncers say that freaked out and forced all out of the bar, then when they sorted it out, it was short after 9 o'clock so everyone had to scan their id. O’Malley’s is still in business.
Nostalgic for those loud drunken college nights? O'Malley's will fix that right up for ya.
Well, all I can say that this is another one of those rather ordinary hotels down near Kings Cross.
If you're looking for a quiet, sophisticated drink with a view over Sydney Harbour, do not - I repeat, *DO NOT* go to O'Malleys.
