Cafe DOV - Potts Point

Fazit: tolles, lockeres Trendy Café im belebten Potts Point DistrictEine sehr gute Karte mit allen möglichen Variationen von Eggs und eine wirkliche gute Auswahl an Pancakes, Müsli, frisches Obst und diverse andere Leckereien die auch mal zum länger verweilen anregen!Die Karte wird natürlich kombiniert mit Smoothies, Milk Shakes und anderen Juices! So das hier durchaus kein Auge trocken bleibt. Sehr schmackhaft und das Frühstück fast perfekt abgestimmt.Von hier aus gut gestärkt in den Tag zur Erkundung von Sydney einzusteigen, ist durchaus ein guter Plan. Das DOVe Café ist bekannt, aber wie so vieles hier im Potts Point, sind die Leute sehr cool! Der Service ist wirklich nett und auf Zack. Wenn es voll ist, kann es durchaus auch mal etwas länger dauern! Aber nun gut, wie sind ja hier nicht am Wall Street District oder an der Frankfurter Börse ;-)Zum fünften Stern fehlt nur noch irgendetwas an "KAWOOOM!" Effekt .... Der Moment wo du sagt, wenn du jetzt sterben solltest, dann hast du alles richtig gemacht! Aber nun gut ;-) dann ziehe ich halt nochmals etwas weiter...und irgendwie passt gerade das Lied hier aus der Box von Rihanna: "I want you to stay" - mach ich ;-)

I've been there for an early breakfast and the service has been terrible. The person in charge did'n t even care about my wrong order. I will never be back.

The breakfasts are the signature item at Cafe Dov, which sources its ingredients locally and they make their own jams etc. They grow their own herbs in the garden out the back. The staff are so friendly, the coffee is good, and there is never any problem having a complicated combination of sides with the breakfast.

Mushrooms, walnuts and feta on toast looked good on the menu, but not so good on the plate. Tasted very ordinary too. Perhaps I shouldn't have ordered a side of haloumi - cheese was already represented in the meal - but I love haloumi, so I went for it anyway. What a let down. It was like eating rubber salt.On the positive side, the coffee was pretty good - but there are plenty of good coffee options in this part of town, and many of those places do a fantastic breakfast as well.

Det var helt ok. Poshert egg med humus og avocado. På brød. Så litt stusselig ut når den ble servert, men smaken var god. Litt dyrt der. Men et koselig sted om man sitter ute.
