Gino's Pizzeria - Portsmouth

Where do I start? The food was fantastic! So good in fact, I wanted to make a picture, but it was gone before I had the chance.. The pizza is the best I had in the southern hands! Flavorful sauce, lots of topping and the perfect crust. Garlic knots were contaminated with charges from Parm above. Ask for Cornell, he is amazing and was on top of things the duration of our visit. The restaurant is small, but the atmosphere is more than what I expect from a small pizzeria. Next time in Portsmouth I will surely come back, thank you again!

Nice staff and pretty good pizza. Overall better than some not the best. I can recommend them for pizza and spaghetti and meatballs and suggest a try. I have about Ginos. 8-10 times ordered since the move to Portsmouth this summer and are more satisfied than not. The pizza is quite firm with great cheese and sauce, but the crust lacks taste, it doesn't taste as if they were making a cold ferment on the dough, but otherwise it reminds me of my summer in NY with my dad. In fact, if the crust had taste Ginos would have been tied at #1 with Primo Pizza for best NYC pizza in Hampton streets. We also ordered spaghetti and meatballs, tiramisu(before good a little small), and a few salads. The spaghetti and meatballs were on point and absolutely delicious. What the salads ordered the cooking salad our first time, my friend said it was perfect the second time that we ordered it, it came with roast beef that it did not have the time before and the roast beef was spoiled. This has taken us from the order for a while to today, unfortunately they called me over 40mins after I placed my order on discs, they were short and had no delivery driver and I had no way to check out pizzas above today.

First visit, we had a 16 Pepperoni and it was delicious. There are not many pizza places in this Tidewater area that have really good pizza, but I was very impressed by Ginos Portsmouth. The price is very good considering the rising prices we have seen for any kind of dune in or out of food. The 3 people who were in front of the house were very friendly and the pizza was quickly prepared. Congratulations to a very good pizza! We will definitely come back! Well done!

Beautiful authentic Sicilian cuisine here in Portsmouth. Best pizza. All fresh. Clean little space. Just a minute. Waiting is very good.

The food was absolutely amazing. The food is so fresh it taste like a home cooked meal. You can tell that the chef loves his restaurant and his job because he takes really great care of his customers. This place is also very family friendly and the workers are awesome. If I could rate this place a 10/10 I would rate it 20/10
