Bangkok Garden Noodle House

I stumbled over this jewel during the stay in portsmouth. the restaurant was nice, I sat immediately and the staff was friendly. they had a beautiful vegetarian section that could be made some vegan, like the pad see ew, which was one of the best I had and I order this dish quite everywhere.

Overall great service which are the stars. Food was ok but the Pad Thai was very sweet and no spice. Lunch plate comes with the salad and one fried spring roll. Haven't tried enough Thai locations in the area but based on past Thai restaurants it is good but make to fit the area not as authentic as eating in Thailand.

I've ordered for take out and dined in, once each. I have always been very pleased with my meals. Beautiful decor in a bright and comfortable setting. Plenty of parking nearby. Lovely servers. There is a very diverse selection on the menu. They have tables, booths, long counters along the windows, seating at the bar, and a separate dining room for special occasions. Rest rooms are clean and bright. I would dock them 1/2 star on the serving of one of their apps: the steamed rolls. The rolls are supposed to come with shrimp, chicken, or tofu. The server did not ask for our choice and in my haste to correct my order, I did not specify, so our rolls came with no protein inside.

100 out of 5 stars. This was my first time having Thai food. The restaurant was clean. Menu was easy to understand. Food was delicious. The server addressed me within 30 seconds of arrival with a very pleasant demeanor that didn't seem forced. While I looked at the menu, the server was extremely patient. This will NOT be my last time eating here.

Stopped here for lunch. The restaurant had very good service and the noodle soup I got was actually very tasty. They also give you a small salad and spring roll during the lunch meal.
