619 Cantina - Portsmouth

Our friends have always talked about this place so we were glad to finally try it out (even if we were late for the party. The tacos were amazing and you can pick all the toppings you want on them including delicious house made queso. The pork that wasn't carnitas was delicioso and the spicy margaritas were on point. I have a list of entrees to try next thanks to our amazing bartender server AND we got a free churro for checking in which was the perfect combination of sweet and awesome. How could you want anything more?!?

So I tried 619 on a whim, I saw it on Foursquare, it wasn't what I expected in a good way. I got there around 11:30 before the lunchtime rush, the staff was very friendly, and very helpful with the menu. You get to practice your arts and crafts skills as you make your mark on the menu with a grease pencil. It might have been the time, but the food was fast, and spot on with what I wanted. It was relatively inexpensive. I will definitely be going back!!

I'm from San Diego and I'm pleased with their food. I'll definitely be going back and probably will try everything on the menu at some point.

Highly recommend. Veteran owner please support. Great food, service, atmosphere. Sonoran hot dog is a must have. The **** Mary's aren't bad either.

I jewel on High St. I came for the margaritas but couldn't help but to order off the build your own Taco menu which had homemade it seemed hard Taco shells. My shrimp tacos were amazing and affordable. Great casual place.
