It was beautifully decorated and looked tasty. The service here goes above and beyond to make sure that your, your family and friends have a wonderful time at their restaurant.I will certainly return here the next time I’m in Portland.
Fresh and delicious sushi ?. Attentive and polite service ?. Facilities are tired and in need of updating.Vegetarian options: Excellent Super Veggie roll.
Great sake selection, available with flights as well for those who can't choose. Interesting sushi selection and specials. I got a sample of different salmon sashimi (sockeye, steelhead, and one other I forget). It was interesting variety. Also the flaming Jack roll was really fun. It arrived on fire, adding that last little singe to the outside.
Up front: I'm not from Portland, but I am extremely familiar with the sushi omakase scene in Seattle. This tasted familiar! We had a great time. I typically go for nigiri and chef's choice cuts, but the options for typical ready-to-serve rolls were delicious. We were treated well and even though we didn't sit at the bar they had a fantastic toro selection alongside some classic market selections. What I presume to be the owner came out and talked with us and it was very humbling! It is very scenically located next to a park and the neighborhood seemed so nice. We would definitely come back for another visit. Only giving it 4 stars because I feel like I'm cheating on our favorite sushi chef haha.
We were on vacation. The restaurant was nice and clean. The server was delightful. The street didn't smell of urine like some downtown spots so that was a definite plus. The food most importantly was delicious. I don't remember the names of the rolls we ate, but everything was so great! Highly recommend and would go back if in the area.Parking: We went on a Monday night after 5. Plenty of parking on the street.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps to go inside plus they have outside seating.
