Water Avenue Coffee - Portland

Technically, this review is for their brand new location in the Wells Fargo tower on 5th Ave. that just opened this week. The staff is so wonderful we're so happy to have them in the building.

This place is great, but they are often closed. 4/7 times I have gone there over the last two months they were closed. I won't bother to try again.

While visiting downtown a couple weeks ago we stopped at this place and I would highly recommend their soy vanilla latte. We ordered another two drinks which I can't quite remember, but the flavor was good. I would like to try more customizations though.

Great espresso and good cookie. Located inside of an office building, it was a bit hard to find.

Coffee is good. I've been going to Water Ave and buying beans since they opened in their original location. Tried the downtown spot for the first time. Very limited food options besides sweets but did have an $8 breakfast burrito with veggie sausage (or ham). Fellow at the counter said they were out of veggie sausage. Told him I'd have one without either protein then. He got a little premade burrito out of a fridge, popped it in the microwave and handed it over. Got back to my office...yep, ham. $8 wasted on something I can't eat.
