Villa Angel Taqueria - Portland

Simple yet tasty tacos amidst a row of food carts. A great snack to grab while roaming the city on foot. The service was friendly and quick!

This spot is by my work and it's my absolute favorite lunch option, so delicious every single time! The service is always friendly, the wait isn't too bad for how fresh the food is, and the ingredients feel very fresh and high quality! Honestly my favorite Mexican food in all of Portland. Try their verde sauce- If they ever decide to bottle it I'd be buying in bulk!

One of my favorite carts and definitely some of the best Mexican food in Portland. Everything we've tried has been delicious but the quesabirria and strawberry horchata are hard to beat! Great portions for the price, we always leave stuffed! The family that runs it is super sweet also.

Best taco's we have had in all of Oregon! Friendly staff, hot fresh food and good central location downtown. If I was staying in town longer....I would for sure come back. Do yourself a favor and order their quesabirra tacos. You won't regret it.

I ordered the birria tacos, and while the meat and tortillas were delicious, the consomé was quite thin and lacked flavor. Overall, I would rate the food a 4 out of 5.
