Urban German Wursthaus - Portland

I really enjoyed the Schnitzel at this restaurant, they served big portions and had a great selection of beers. The only downside is that you have to order at the bar, but that's a minor inconvenience.

The food tasted decent, but I was disappointed to not receive spätzle with my schnitzel as expected. Instead, we were served medium-length egg noodles, similar to those used for stroganoff, rather than the traditional dumpling-like spätzle. In general, the meal seemed overpriced for what we received. It was enjoyable, but I would have expected a price closer to $10-$13 rather than $20+.

I unexpectedly found this restaurant and was impressed by its cool atmosphere! It reminded me of Germany, a place I really miss. The food and beer were excellent. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Went here last weekend for lunch, shortly as after they opened, and had a great time bartender/server was nice and food was delicious. Didn't have to wait long either. There was a nice patio with big fans to keep cool. Currywurst might have been my favorite!

Great outdoor space with an amazing view of the St Johns Bridge. We would totally come here again. We had the beer wurst and the pork schnitzel. Really tasty. We would definitely come back here, and whenever you can say that in Portland, it's a winner!
