Urban Fondue - Portland

Homey fondue experience with pleasant servers. the black trufflefondue was good, but otherwise no big stands out. good for what they get when they do the fondue for two deal.

Excellent waitress. were small, but delicious. had to wait a bit until the crockpots appeared. I'm just mentioning that we've got to eat, but wait about 15min for one to cook it. many decisions loved that. dessert fondue.........YUMMM

The menu itself was confusing and it took us one because to sort the best approach for our order. my square plate was dirty, but all the others seemed to be in order. fondue pots came out and they were very well made and delicious. our escape came out and they get very small help for the cost. a lot of sauce cups. No one could remember what was and while we tasted them during dinner, pretty much all sauces were wasted. dessert came out and we only made it through the half of the pot I found wasted. our table of four would have divided a pot instead of two, although we did not have enough to dive. traditionally dessert fondue is served with obst to dive and while there were banans on the teller, the rest of the dipping items were different desserts, which ultimately made the experience way too sweet. we were sad to see how much chocolate was was wasted when we were gone. the half of the two pots ordered was abandoned. total, expensive for the small amount of food. too many sauces that are not recognizable and are wasted, a confusing menu to navigate and dessert that was extremely sweet and wasted.

While eating is definitely incredible, the staff is always rude and dismissed. I was openly turned away because they have “too many reservations” to foot in the square. However, I went online and had been in the situation, a 5:15,5:30,5:45 etc reservation for the rest of the night. I have repeatedly made reservations and then let 30 minutes wait. I have asked special questions online that were not met just to let them tell me that if I wanted this thing, I would have made the request online. how I made it clear. I am regularly ignored for the majority of my culinary experience. they always seem to be undermined except that they have no more than 15 tables and no less than three visible employees.

The food was amazing. The staff was wonderful, especially with my gluten diet restriction. We will definitely be back.
