Starbucks - Portland

I stopped by to check out the pastries without planning to buy anything, but I couldn't resist the adorable fox cake pop! It looked just like the fox emoji! The cake pop was delicious—really soft and sweet. Since I hadn't had anything sugary in a while, I definitely appreciated the flavor. The shell was nice as well—not too thick like some others I've tried. The overall balance was perfect. The hardest part was only having one!

The coffee was good, but the menu was quite limited. I ended up paying extra to get the specific type of coffee and flavors I enjoy. Unfortunately, the staff was not very friendly.

I visited this restaurant on Sunday, and I encountered a staff member with a disability who prepared my drink. I placed my order, but she didn’t get it right. When I pointed it out, she seemed to suggest that I was mistaken because my order didn't appear in the system. I believe that if she can't fulfill certain orders, there should be better communication to avoid disappointing customers. I was quite upset, especially since she insisted that I hadn't ordered what I had requested, and her tone felt mocking.

I visited the Starbucks located at 720 SW Broadway in Pioneer Courthouse Square. The staff service was good. While I was taking pictures for my review, the manager respectfully asked me not to take photos. I explained that I was writing a customer service review, and I appreciated the way she handled the situation. I ordered my favorite Café Latte, and it was delicious. The store is situated in a prime area of Downtown, and the ambiance was pleasant. It’s definitely worth a visit again!

This location is takeout only and has not yet reopened the very limited indoor seating they previously had. However, there is usually outdoor seating available within a block throughout most hours of the day.
