Shawarma Express - Portland

The man with pepper-colored hair and sharpie-like eyebrows was exceptionally rude. When I politely inquired about a buzzer, he snatched my card from my hand and curtly responded, "No, be ready in 6-8 minutes!" It's now been 15 minutes, and I'm freezing! This place is terrible, and I won't return. I'll also make sure to advise all my family and friends to avoid it! They should just shut down already…

My favorite shawarma place on 82nd Street. I definitely recommend it!

I’ve had my fair share of Gyros and Donairs (the Canadian version) over the years, but this one was simply inedible. The pita was stale, topped with wilted shredded lettuce, and smothered in dry, unseasoned beef that was hot but lacked any flavor. To make matters worse, there was a generous dollop of tasteless tzatziki and oddly cut chunks of underripe tomato—cut, but not quite all the way through. And let's not forget the raw, bitter onion pieces piled on top for good measure. My partner's dish was no better; it was just dry, flavorless falafel in place of the beef. I typically like to give places a few chances before leaving a one-star review, but this was an exceptionally terrible, overpriced meal. Spending $30 on such disappointing food is frustrating!

Been at this cart yesterday and apparently there was no internet, so the guy at the cart couldn't use the Credit card machine and instead of asking for cash (which I had), he plainly and bluntly denied to sell any food.When I enquired why he wouldn't take cash and ask for it instead, he was like I don't have time for it, I am busy (when there was no other customer at the cart and I was the only one). That was one of the rudest answers and attitude I have seen at a food cart so far.This guy had a very rude attitude from the beginning, not sure if he is like that with all the customers or certain ethnicities.Its not just about Food, Manners and Hospitality matters a lot in a Restaurant business, definitely wouldn't recommend this Food cart or there food to anyone after this experience.
