Powell's Seafood - Portland

GREAT Chinese restaurant. So many choices, decent prices and large portions.

This traditional Cantonese restaurant offers a wide variety of menu options, with a focus on fresh seafood. I had a great first experience dining here and will definitely be returning the next time I'm in Portland.

Almost all the dishes are more expensive than other Chinese restaurants in the city. The waitress is rude, talking back all the time, impolite, not friendly, and the attitude is quite bad and arrogant! The waitress charged me more by mistake but without apologizing! For this kind of negative service attitude, I don't think I will go back. It's been for so many years, I have been a regular customer, but not under the pandemic, and it's very disappointing that when I dropped by to buy dinner dishes (2 dishes cost me more than$50!!! , and the experience was so bad!!!

The food is always good here, but they definitely need more parking for customers. It's disappointing that there are no handicap parking spaces for disabled people at all.

This restaurant is authentic and delicious! The salt and pepper combo is amazing and the honey BBQ spare ribs are a must-try. The ribs are tender and the sauce is fantastic. Honestly, I have not had a bad dish here. Keep an open mind, enjoy the tea, take your time with friends, and try at least three dishes when you visit. It makes for a great dinner and the portions are large enough to share between two or three people.
