Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Portland

This is by far the best Popeyes I’ve ever visited. The food is served hot and fresh, the restaurant is clean, the service is excellent, and they’re willing to accommodate special requests.

The staff at this location appears to lack proper training. They recommend downloading the app, and when I found a coupon I wanted to use for double the offer, they informed me that I could only place one order with it. However, there was no indication of this limitation on the coupon itself. Frustrated, my husband and I opted to go to KFC instead, as they seem to know what they're doing. We will be giving our business to KFC rather than Popeyes.

When I opened the bag, I found two boxes that contained two thighs, red beans and rice, and mashed potatoes with gravy. This was definitely not what I ordered, especially since I can't stand red beans and rice or mashed potatoes and gravy. I couldn't go back, so I decided to call and let them know about the mix-up. When I spoke to the manager, she called me a liar, refused to give me her name, and then hung up on me. Great customer service and management skills, Popeyes. You used to be my favorite restaurant, but now it seems I'll need to find a new place for chicken.

I had a delicious and absolutely amazing sandwich at Popeyes! I love their food; the chicken is incredible, and the pickles and mayo are just perfect. I highly recommend it, especially if you're looking to bulk up like I am.

I really enjoy their chicken and chicken sandwich, but I’m not a fan of their mashed potatoes. The last time I ordered coleslaw, it was extremely runny. On the other hand, the mac and cheese is fantastic and definitely worth trying!
