Nuestra Cocina - Portland

This is really one of my favorite restaurants in Portland. The cook, the culinary team and the staff really open doors with heart and hospitality. I missed her during the pandemic closures and I am happy to visit again. Very reasonable prices, from this world quality and options!

Fantastic Mexican restaurant that prepares classic dishes with seasonal ingredients and expert preparations. I love how sensible the parts are. You can order many different things without getting too much food.

Food and beverages are fantastic here only prepared for a wait, at least on weekends (the only time I was so far). We arrived at 6:45 a.m. on a Saturday night and said the wait was about half an hour. As soon as a place opened near the bar, we could enjoy a drink while we waited, and our table was faster than expected in just an hour. Note that there is no text warning system or something so you want to wait on site. The Tlacoyo is my favorite dish here, but I would recommend sharing a few small plates as there is much to enjoy! Margaritas and Sangria are also fabulous.

Innovative fabulous gourmet Mexican restaurant. That was our first visit we have again!! All we tried (2 appetizers, 2 entries 2 desserts) was amazing. Many flavors mixed perfectly, smokey, spicy, aromatic. Fun unique Margarita options. We all thought the parts were right. And the waiting staff was interactive, helpful and always there for us. Great team!!!

Absolutely amazing! We never fail to have a fantastic meal here. The food is unique and familiar at once and SO delicious! I could eat their soapas everyday. The drinks are fresh and flavorful and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. They have a way of making you feel at home. Did I mention the food? It's good. It's really really good.
