Liquid Riot Bottling Company - Portland

This is only my second time here in one year. I have to say, first time was a much better experience overall. It seems now there is very little help everything is out of sorts. Our food came out before the drinks app we ordered which was strange. I have never experienced this before at any restaurant. The hostess was nowhere to be found when we first walked in (sign said “wait to be seated” . The drinks were not enjoyable at all. The gnats mosquitoes outside were incredibly annoying, especially when we found gnats in our water.

After out Portland bike ride we decided to stop at a couple of breweries to check out the local craft beers and ciders (hint: there are a LOT of ciders in Maine). We sat at the bar at Liquid Riot and got to watch the end of Ferris Bueller's Day Off. We also enjoyed some local brews.

Great experience.We went about 1 on Wednesday. There was no wait. We ordered the pretzels and a flight of whiskey. Service was excellent and made fantastic reservations!!!I really loved the Oat Whiskey. It's only brewed once a year according to our server. My next favorite was the bourbon.Make sure to check out the gorgeous space that overlooks the wharf!

Beautiful building. Great service. The food was delicious. The beer was ok. Husband had an old fashioned and he said it was good.

Highly recommended, if you love a good brew or two. Plus they have a meat and cheese board. How can anyone not try them out. ??cheers ?
