Ikea Cafe - Portland

I used to enjoy having breakfast at this restaurant, but today was a disappointing experience. I will not be returning for food here again. The Lingonberry jam had a strong, unpleasant smell that overshadowed the other dishes. I couldn't even eat it. I have bought the jam in a jar before and it never smelled like this.

We enjoy dining at this restaurant, but we were disappointed with our last two visits. The food and service were subpar. On a Sunday, there was no cashier open at the grocery store exit, so the only option was to wait in the long regular checkout line. Unfortunately, we left empty-handed.

I absolutely adore this place. Even though they often use canned ingredients, including in their salads and desserts, I am a huge fan of the overall food atmosphere. The Swedish meatballs are a perfect 10/10.

OMG the SWEDISH MEATBALLS and the STRAWBERRY CAKE are very good. You can also get the meatballs separated 4 meatballs for 1 dollar.

Not bad overall, especially the price. My partner and I had the plant based meatballs on a daily special, they came with 2 sides, we got 2 drinks and 2 desserts and it was all under $12.
