Happier Taco Shop - Portland

I always order the beef stew, which comes with two warm flour tortillas and sometimes a lovely little side of Spanish rice. It's consistently delicious and hearty, filled with large, tender pieces of beef and plenty of vegetables to balance the flavors. One time, the corn wasn't cooked all the way, but since the portion is so generous, it wasn't a big deal. Please, never stop making this dish! There aren't enough places that serve caldo de res!

Carne Asada Fries were cooked perfectly, the 2. Enchiladas Combo Plate was prepared and assembled well, and the Horchata was divine! 9/10 would recommend and order from again!

Everything was fantastic! The chimichanga was perfectly crunchy, and the chicken was incredibly juicy. The carne asada fries were outstanding! I prefer to have the guacamole on the side, but now I know for next time. The ground beef tacos were also delicious, with moist meat and great flavor. I will definitely be ordering from here again and will recommend this place to everyone!

The food was amazing, particularly the Carne Asada Fries. Everything was served hot and fresh, with melted cheese and tender meat in the burritos and fries, plus a wonderfully sweet and cinnamon-flavored Horchata! I highly recommend this place! Five stars!

The staff is always so friendly. Ordering toppings isnt an option through the DoorDash app, and when I call, they always add red and green sauce and pickled carrots to the bag. 10/10 definitely recommend.
