Dragonwell Bistro - Portland

We absolutely adore this restaurant! It has quickly become our go-to Chinese restaurant in the Portland area. We don't mind driving 30 minutes each way every time we visit because the food is just that good.

We visited the restaurant on Christmas Eve, so we anticipated it would be crowded and service might be slower than normal. Our first three dishes arrived promptly, but then there was a long wait with no more food. After 20 minutes, the waitress asked if we wanted our check, but we informed her that we were still waiting for three more dishes. There seemed to be confusion in the kitchen, but eventually our food arrived. The waitress was apologetic for the delay.

I was disappointed that the restaurant was closed on July 4th weekend and did not inform OpenTable about it. My reservation was for July 5th at 4:30, so it was inconvenient to find another restaurant last minute, especially since we are not familiar with the area.
