Café Yumm! - Portland

I absolutely adore Cafe Yumm and Whole Bowl; they're quite similar in offerings. The sauce draws me in every time—it's simply amazing. I placed my order online...

The food was fresh and the sauce was great, but overall, the dishes didn't impress me. The presentation was lackluster, and I found the prices to be quite steep. I don't think I'll be ordering from here again. However, I did enjoy the salads. I can't comment on the bowls, though.

I really dislike having to write a negative review for a place I've loved for so long, but I feel it's important to share my experience. I've ordered from here multiple times, and after my recent visit, I can’t overlook the issues any longer.

The service was quite slow during my visit, so I was seated without any issues. The food was decent, but it seemed a bit lacking in flavor compared to some of my favorite places, like Whole Bowl in Southeast. That said, the food was still acceptable, and the cookie I had was delicious. Overall, it's a solid spot.

I had never been to a Café Yumm! before, so when I decided to give it a try, I had no idea what to expect. The food was delicious, and I typically don't enjoy having rice with my meals. I realize now that I’ve been missing out for a long time!
