Ben Esther's Vegan Jewish Deli

I'm still really upset that their Sandy Blvd location is gone; it was so convenient and in an area that truly needs more vegan options. I don't visit Alberta often, but whenever I'm there, I always stop by this place. Their bagel with egg, cheese, and steak is absolutely amazing. It's perfect for grabbing food on the go since you can order ahead of time!

All vegan options available! I had a really delicious bagel and rye sandwich—the Reuben was quite tasty. The prices are reasonable, and the ingredients are fresh. The staff is friendly too!

I wasn't feeling great, so I decided to go with an everything bagel with scallion bacon cream cheese. It really lifted my spirits! My husband ordered the sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel and was quite pleased with his choice. There is plenty of seating inside, and I particularly enjoyed the bar seats by the windows, which were perfect for some morning people-watching.

We visited Ben Esther's Vegan Jewish Deli twice over the weekend were pleased with the food, service, prices given the portions. We tried the New Yorker sandwich, the Egg, Cheese Bacon filling on an onion bagel, a knish, potato salad, egg salad. My girlfriend I both agreed that our favorite item was the onion bagel sandwich; however, she also quite liked the potato salad. I preferred the egg salad. We both thought the New Yorker was just okay. We'd definitely like to try more of their deli case items bagel sandwiches. We look forward to visiting again. Abslutely incredible egg, cheese and bacon bagel sandwiches. the sammy siegler was to die for as well. can’t wait to go back next time I’m in town.
