The live blues truly made the evening enjoyable. It's a shame that the seating arrangement makes it difficult to see the band.
This venue has a rugged atmosphere and attracts a crowd that loves soccer, and it certainly lived up to my expectations. Bartender Steve was fantastic—friendly and made one of the best no-nonsense Bloody Marys I've ever had. The avocado toast was also delicious. There's a public parking lot right next door, which is convenient. I was recommended this place by a friend who enjoys sports, and I'm really glad I decided to stop by!
On a recent trip to Portland, we popped in for lunch, and got to watch not only a football match, but let me turn on a college basketball game on another tv, too. Food WOW! The best french onion soup I've ever had. We also got some pulled pork poutine the pulled pork was slow cooked, flavorful, and absolutely wonderful. They had a great selection of local craft beers, but also poured a perfect pint of Guinness, so thank you for that. We absolutely loved Andy's, and cannot wait to go back again soon. Thank you so much for an amazing experience.
I’m not sure why this place got good reviews. I went there with my children for lunch, and there were three regulars sitting at the bar, and nobody else in the restaurant. The man behind the bar was very responsive and very nice, and our order came out in a timely manner. The food was mediocre at best. My cesar salad was not appealing at all, my son’s chicken quesadillas were terrible and the mac and cheese bowl was small for the price. We all felt sick later on that evening. So many great restaurants in Portland, unfortunately it was a Monday and most were closed.
