Long Lake Tavern - Portage

First time... We were looking for somewhere from the main tow. We went on a Friday night a pool league that filled most tables, but there were still a few empty tables, so we sat right down. As we expected, it is definitely a bar, but it was fine, also with a few teenage boys in the tug. One person was bartending served all tables, but he did great. You have a fairly standard bar food menu, including the BEST olive burgers I've ever had! The thick olive majo sauce shatters on the BOTH sides of the bungalow. Yum! (If you love green olives) The Tavern Burger (Burger with a piece of cheese, peppercorn sauce onion rings) was also a hit. The burgers were incredible! The cook even came out to ask how our meals were. Bonus-- it was all very cheap! We're glad we tried, it'll definitely go back.

This is a relaxed bar that my friend really enjoys. You have some of the best wings around and worth the price.

It's a dive, but we love dives. We always had a great service here and there is a claw machine

I met up with my sister at Long Lake Tavern today. The bartender was quick and friendly but not overly friendly which was nice because we wanted to talk to each other. The other patrons in the tavern were pleasant and well mannered. It was a Tuesday around 8 so it wasn't very busy it was kind of a quiet evening. But I can tell by the look of the tavern that they are well equipped and prepared to have a really busy night.
