Kumo Hibachi Sushi - Portage

Food wasn't that good, shumai was mushy. Rest of food was bland. Serv was so so. Seated all patrons in 1 section.

As a family Kumos was always are birthday place for over 20 years. Always great food, we got to know some of the chefs that watched our kids grow up. Tonight, First time I’ve had a bad meal. We were seated at a grill where everyone was already eating sushi, salad and soup. Chef was cooking when we got our sashimi…. Fried rice was not as good, veggies have changed and my filet mignon was unremarkable, tough and fatty. Sashimi was good. We will be taking a Kumos break and shop for a new hibatchi restaurant. We’re sad to see something has definitely changed.

Went out for lunch with my family and the food quality was very poor. Family members got sick. I don’t recommend this place.

Good food. Always a great experience. The service is decent. Making my son order off the kids menu, When all he wanted was a side of rice, kind of blew me. But they recovered quickly to satisfy us. Kid-friendliness: They make the kids order off the kids menu.

It was good. The fried rice was too salty but that soup and salad was dope. The steaks were really good
