1873 Grille - Portage

We wanted to decide where to eat lunch today and thought we would try the new 1873 barbecue. It used to be the Corner Pocket in Portage, and I always liked the atmosphere there. We were both very impressed. The Buffalo chicken package was great, and my girlfriend's peanut butter Burger was also very good. Also one of the best **** Mary 's in this area.

In 1873 I had a great meal with my family. Thank you to Bill for having a great experience, even if I wore a Chicago Bears Sweatshirt in Packers Country. I had the Black Bean Wrap with Sweet Potato Fries and it was one of the best vegetarian meals I had in a pub scene. Wash it off with two different craftsmen. My wife had the weekend special Smothered Beef Tenderloin sandwich and really likes it. Children had Sunrise Burger and Chicken Strip basket. Bill made us feel special even though he was the only one who worked in the dining room on Sunday afternoon. Very recommended.

The food was great. The maize butterflies with our dinner were delicious and could be menu item there. Drinks were a bit expensive, but delicious.

This place has the best **** Marys, the hot Buffalo wings were awesome, beautiful and hot. Get the sweet potato fries with homemade Ranch Dressing, they are delicious! Service was excellent, happy, friendly staff.

First time visiting and I’m sure we’ll be back. I love French fries and these were quite possibly the best I’ve ever had!
