The Chalet Restaurant - Port Perry

The food is consistently served hot and homemade. Although the dining area may be small, it's evident that the owners take pride in their food and establishment.

Going by appearance this is not a place I would think of enjoying a meal. However the food is good and at very reasonable prices. Some gourmet meals are offered at dinner including lamb. Only cash is accepted.

Never never ever going to try or go there again. The food is average, but cheap, but the wife the server is awful. I have never experienced anything like her. I have worked in the restaurant business I would not have lasted one day with her attitude. There are sooo many other choices in Port Perry. Do not stop, keep going...trust me

We had hamburgers and fries. We were served and ate all within 20 mins. The food was great! This restaurant is a hidden gem. Stop in and try it!

This unique little restaurant is a bit quirky. The Burger was amazing and the onion rings were spot on. It has a quaint mom and pop diner feel with uneven floors, a small cozy room, and a slightly dark kitchen. The actual dishes didn't quite match the photos online and the plant in the window needed some TLC. Plus, they only accept cash, which can be a red flag. However, despite these potential concerns, we decided to give it a chance based on a positive review we read. As a food enthusiast, we were pleasantly surprised with the delicious Burger and crispy onion rings. And at only 6.50, it was a great value. We would definitely go back for another meal.
