Before shopping, we decided to have dinner first. My friends recommended this spot and I really enjoyed it! We all ordered drinks. I haven't had a Long Island iced tea in maybe a decade?! $9?! If I wasn't driving, I would have easily consumed 3. It was delish! Cocktails for under ten bucks blew my mind. I'm so used to downtown Toronto prices. Friday and Saturday night there is a prime rib special. Although I asked for medium rare, it was more medium well. The saving grace was that the meat was quite tender and seasoned nicely. I enjoyed all the fixins which included mixed veggies, mashed potatoes, and Yorkshire pudding! Service was pretty good. Servers were young but were trained properly. Just the right balance of friendly and attentive. I have to mention the bathrooms are upstairs and the stalls are tiny. Terribly awkward. I heard there is an accessible washroom downstairs which is good for anyone who needs it. I would definitely come here again for the food and drinks! If it's not Friday or Saturday, I'll order the fish and chips. They looked and smelled incredible!
Best patio and pub food in Port Perry! Great service, good portions, fun drinks, big menu and easy street parking. Tried the nachos, wings and potato skins... along with some beer and a Killer Koolade! Really nice patio, shady side under the trees, or brighter open side with umbrellas and a great street view. Very enjoyable, will be going back to try the burger!
July 24/21: Nice little pub in the heart of Port Hope. This was an older place with a history of being haunted! The atmosphere seemed rushed. The table itself was clean but it wasn't well cared for. The table was very wobbly we ended up having to secure it ourselves as guests. Our server was Debbie. She was polite but very rushed in her service. It took a little too long to get our food. The fish chips were good. The stand out was the fish...very tasty. The fries were done like I like them but they weren't hot enough. The bathroom was upstairs but the hall was unlit I almost tripped on an object left in the path.
This is a great place to stop by. The food is a level up from what I have come to expect from a pub. It was absolutely delicious. We went here for a celebration and it was a great end to a wonderful day.
Came in with 5 people and the two waitresses stared at us while talking on the phone, after their phone call one girl awkwardly told us it would take too long and to go, we left
