Spuntino - Port Melbourne

The spuntino is not open late so get there for breakfast and afternoon coffee , nice outdoor seating close to tram 109 and station pier

It was comfortable sitting inside out of the rain. Spuntino's is right at the tram terminus and across from the ferry terminal. There are many food choices from cakes, pastries, sandwiches made to order, and toasted sandwiches. I had a pie and coffee and thought I got good value. My choice was nothing special, but filling.

Waiting for the Spirit of Tasmania so popped over for something light. Got Caesar salad and pot of tea. Freshest caesar and tasty home made mayo. Staff friendly enough and quick service.

Good honest cafe fare in terrific location right at Station Pier. Breakfasts are hearty and reasonably priced. Staff friendly and efficient. Good coffee in or take away. Regular visitor on Saturday mornings. Opens early every day!

Shop opens at 6.30am... I went to order coffee and breakfast at 6.45am (i understand if cooking doesn't commence until 7am that's fine) but the Rudest lady (maybe owner...looks like she would eat her own young) snapped at me and said no breakfast until 7am I AM NOT READY TO COOK YET!! I would have been happy with a simple "sorry we don't cook until 7am etc etc" ...probably should have told her to stick her breakfast up her clacker but I didnt. Never mind won't go there again.
