Thai Orchid Clarence Street

We had the best Thai food we've enjoyed in years! We dined here for two days and are planning to return tomorrow. The service was excellent, the portions were generous, and the prices were very affordable, which is a huge plus for anyone who loves great flavors. We will definitely recommend this place to all our friends visiting Port Macquarie.

Brilliant food!! This is our way to take away. Thai orchid does not look like much from outside, but boy oh boy can cook them!!! My favorites must be the Panang Curry, Pad Si Eew and Pad Thai. The food is fast (maximum 15-20min wait before I can pick it up. Thank you very much and keep up the great work!

I have loved Thai orchid for years and, although sad to see them in a smaller place, I am very pleased that their food has remained authentic and tasty. Best Pad See Ew in the city. Yum!

However, the main course was disappointing. The Muschelaman curry was overly fatty and too creamy, lacking flavor. It also missed the crispy peanuts that I was expecting. The coconut rice was too gloppy, and the deep-fried tofu in the main dish was unappealing. On a positive note, the steamed tofu in the soup appetizer was fantastic, making the letdown in the main course even more pronounced.
