In country towns we often miss the convenient fast food of an Asian market and adapted to country palates, ask for chilli if you want it.
It was supposed to be my turn to cook dinner on holidays. I did the typical dad thing and suggested we eat out! Did some deciding and noodle bar was the theme. Googled local establishments (not many in Port Mac) Found Delicious (which goes under a couple of other names as well) in Horton st. Turned up, bit nervous as it wasnt overly big and didnt really have much seating arrangements inside. What we ordered was relatively in-expensive, but really packed a punch in the pallet area... Worth a try..
This is a great take away Asian restaurant to know about in tourist Port Macquarie. They only do take away. You can call your order in, or you can drop by and wait. You wont wait long, they are quick. It would be unusual to not find one of your favourite South East Asian on their extensive menu.I dropped by on the off chance on a wet an miserable night. We didn't feel like braving the weather to find a restaurant for dinner, and we didn't feel like the usual offerings on a hotel room service menu. I ordered a simple dish, Indonesian Fried Rice. You can add any meat you like or have vegetarian. Making your own modifications to the menu is not a problem.Prices are modest. Street parking is easy.
