I absolutely loved the sweet corn cakes, and the Tom Yum soup was full of vegetables. The spacious old shop allowed for comfortable seating without feeling crowded. Overall, a great dining experience!
I ordered the Pad Kee Mao at this restaurant. The price was very reasonable, similar to what you would find in Melbourne restaurants. I was a little hesitant to see Australians working at the front desk, but the Pad Kee Mao turned out to be amazing. The food was fantastic. Great job, guys.
We had unexpectedly delicious food at this restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed all three dishes we ordered. The service staff were adorable and always had a smile on their face. This was the only place open for dinner in town on our way to Adelaide, and we were glad we stopped here for our meal. Highly recommended. Even though the appearance of the restaurant wasn't very appealing when we walked in, we decided to take a risk as we had no other options. We especially loved their green curry and satay chicken.
There is a reason this restaurant is empty every time we eat in Port Fairy. So many great new places to eat in Port Fairy and we tried this one to give it a go. Once was enough. the place was again empty which should have sent alarm bells. The service from the waitress was awkward and unfriendly. We ordered spring rolls for entree, Ive never had bad spring rolls, I didn't realise you could actually make bad spring rolls. These were bad - filled with mince chicken only. We only ate them as we felt compelled to finish the entree to get to main. Our mains were worse, we actually couldn't eat them. I ordered Tom Yum soup it was filled with gritty bits of lemongrass and ginger skin and rubbery calamari. I was constantly pulling out inedible bits from my mouth so I gave up. My friends dish was Oyster beef stir fry. It tasted awful and looked like slop. The vegetable were the frozen package variety - rubbery and not fresh. AND the rice was very average for a Thai restaurant. We left without eating our meals - within minutes of being served. The waitress did not enquire about our meals and it was obvious we hadn't eaten them. Give this one a miss. Too many other great places to eat in Port Fairy
Very clean, good service and lovely food. An unassuming little restaurant in the heart of Port Fairy.
