Village Bakehouse - PORT FAIRY

Scallop pie is stunning and friendliness of staff adds to service from this little bakehouse. Main eating is outdoors on path which on cool winters day meant we had to sit on hi stools indoors but owner was lovely and friendly.Definitely be back to get some scallop pies to take back to Melbourne - and they also serve ethically grown and sourced coffee

Staff were friendly, pies were great for a cold winter morning. Would definitely go back again for more pie :)

My wife and I were so hungry by the time we arrived from Melbourne. So happy we stumbled across this place for a delicious coffee and pies. I had the Curry Pie and went strait back and got another one. My wife had the Scallop pie and being a Tassie girl said that these ones were even better then anything she has had down there. 100% put this place in you travel plans for a food stop.

Staff were slow and had little product knowledge, did not know what ingredients were in their food. Food was below average, and they had run out of most items. Not recommended at all.

I had the Pepper pie which was very tasty with lovely flaky pastry , my husband had the plain meat pie , both of these were served in a foil dish making them easy to handle , my husband and I both voted them to be the best in Port Fairy. Although we did not try the cakes , they looked really nice, but had to think about my waistline !! will definitely be back
