Lemongrass Thai Cuisine Restaurant

Our fourth visit to Lemongrass Thai in Port Fairy. Whilst the staff are pleasant they don't appear to want to be open even when they are open!! Each time we have been there they have turned away customers at 8pm. We were told that if we came after 715 pm we would get both the entree and main served at the same time!! The food is always good but their attitude is wrong in a tourist town. If you are open for dinner you should be catering for diners surely!!Do yourself a favour and go to the new Thai restaurant further along the street who are keen to see customers!

A group of us went there for a meal, and as with other Asian restaurants it's a good place to share meals. They do takeaway as well as dining in. We ordered our own entrées as we got a mix like a sampling plate

Although we had not booked, our group of travellers was accommodated on a busy evening. We ordered a variety of meals and each was delicious.

This was a really nice stop in Port Fairy and if it wasn't for the terrible terrible inedible beef in my stir fry, it would have been a very different review. And to add insult to injury they asked when we were paying the bill how we enjoyed the meal and I kindly mentioned the beef and their reply was "Oh - I'll let the kitchen know" on our way out the door. We had a selection of entrees which were great. Singapore noodles which was so so. And he Garlic and Pepper Beef Stirfry! The beef had fat runs through it all and each little piece took several minutes to break down to the point you could swallow it. I gave up in the end. Such a pity they didn't seem to care - even after asking for feedback and if they had I would not have given the Poor rating. Live and learn guys.

Went here on Saturday night for a relaxing night catching up with a girlfriend arriving at 7.30pm. There was only 2 other tables with patrons and once they left at 8 we were rushed and pushed out. We were still eating our main when they shut the curtains and turned off the music. All except 2 staff left and the remaining staff then stood watching and listening to our conversation. I have never been to a restaurant and felt so uncomfortable and unwanted. To arrive at 7.30 and forced out by 8.20 at a cost of $70 is unforgivable and really ruined our much planned night out. Although the meal was lovely I wouldn't go back.
