The Breakfast Barn - Port Colborne

Came here last year and had an incredible breakfast. Was excited to revisit this morning while spending time in Welland for business. We patiently waited for our table no problem, but in the process it was given away to someone locally and we we're told another 25 mins or to go elsewhere. Disappointed we had a completely different experience this year. The food was second to none. ?

We showed up with 5 people. We were told a 15 wait. Couple came in. Took one of the tables that was being cleared for us. Server didn't seem to care that we now have to wait 25 minutes. Can't review food cause I didn't get to try it. Will never go again and will tell others to avoid it. It's not the fact it happened, it was how it was dealt with. It's understandable if a business is busy but when you give a table away in front of a customer it better come with an apology. Guess it's good the table thief is friends with the chef. They claim they are swamped but they have time reply to the bad review.

Waited for 15 mins as asked and then our tables were given to cooks friend. Then said another 25min wait but best to go somewhere else. Never coming back. They had 2 tables ready for us until the cooks friends showed up after and one of the tables was given to them.Simply rude and service was outrageous

Should be NO stars for the service was terrible. 5 of us was asked to wait for 15mins til tables were available, then 2 customers showed up after and was seated to our table we were waiting for. The cook said sorry but I am too behind so wait 25mins or just go somewhere else. Ignorant.!!

The food was great, the atmosphere was really nice and the staff were even better.. a young man came in and asked for a free breakfast, and they sat him down with no questions asked.. it was beautiful! Thank you for being so kind!
